Also taken at the RMSS 2011 on June 30, 2011. View to the south with Sagittarius, Scorpius, and Corona Australis and of course a beautiful Milky Way. Canon 300D with Vivitar 19mm/f3.8 lens piggyback on Meade 2120. Stack of 6 images, ISO 1600, 30s exposure time each (3 min exposure total). Also visible is open cluster M7 between Sagittarius and Scorpius.
