Milky Way at Sokum Ridge Park, IA - Cygnus

This is the Milky Way as seen at the observation site of the Iowa City Astronomy Club, the Sokum Ridge Park. Taken at the observing session on July 10, 2010. Piggyback (on Meade 2120 mounted on equatorial motor drive) using my new old Canon 300D (converted to accept Minolta Rokkor lenses). Sigma 28-80mm zoom lens (effective focal length 45mm on 35mm camera). 30s exposure time, ISO 1600. Besides cygnus, aquila, sagitta, and delphinus are visible.
