The previous image of Orion taken with the Fuji Finepix 4700 was very promising. So I gave it another try a day later (2015-02-05). This time I took 10 "dark frames", 10 "flat frames", and 48 "light frames". I processed everything in Nebulosity Ver. 2.3.0. Clearly, more stars are visible and the overall image quality is better as in the image from yesterday, that was only based on 7 light frames. Night Scene Mode, f2.8, 8mm focal length (36 equivalent for 35 mm cameras), ISO 200, exposure time 3 sec each image (total exposure time 144 sec). Taken February 5, 2015.
