I played some more with the Neximage CCD camera. This time I connected it to the Meade 2120 10-inch SCT telescope. Again, I inserted the CCD camera into the Televue 1.8x Barlow. This AVI file was also ~3000 frames and I selected the 50% best of them. As in the previous image of Jupiter I first centered and croped the individual frames with Ninox and then used Registax 6 tostack the images. With imagination, the great red spot can be seen in the upper cloud band to the right. Taken November 4, 2011. Compared to the 60mm refractor, there is very little chromatic aberration through the SCT.
