Today, the jovian moons were lined up in a really beautiful arrangement. So I took 2 AVI files using the NexImage CCD camera through the 60mm Polaris Meade telescope (f=900mm) and a 3x Barlow lens. The first AVI was exposed so that the moons were showing up and Jupiter being overexposed. The second AVI was exposed for Jupiter but the moons did not show up. After processing both AVI files in 2 individual files, I combined the two images to the final image shown here. The images were taken on November 6, 2011.
