The famous Ring Nebula (M57) photographed during the Rocky Mountain Star Stare (RMSS) event 2010. Composite image of 5 images taken with the Nikon Coolpix 995 (converted for near infrared). Afocal projection using the Meade 2120 SCT. Camera settings: f26.7mm (127mm equivalent on 35mm camera); F4.6, ISO 800, 4 images with 60s exposure, 1 image with 10s exposure. Darkframe subtracted, stacked with Rot'n Stack, and filtered with NeatImage. Taken on June 11, 2010.
